Hello everyone!

A new day, a new post.

As you may know or not (shame on you!), I’ve turned 22 yesterday. YAAAY! And to quote my sister’s message for my birthday: “You’re now a year older, a year wiser and a year closer to fulfilling your dreams.” And yes, she’s sooo right!
I’ve promised you guys a recapitulation of my birthday and that’s what this post is about.

The day

So, let’s start from the beginning. My day started very well because the sun was shining and the beards were singing. It sounds very fairytale-ish, but for me it felt like that. The whole day was sunny (except for one period in the afternoon), but I’ve enjoyed it.

To be honest, for me, it was a normal day. I’ve did some tasks at home, made breakfast for us and later we went a little bit outside. My hubby was a little bit sneaky and didn’t wanted to congratulate me when I wake up. He waited until breakfast 🙂 His gift was small and simple, but I really enjoyed it. I’ll tell you more about it later.

In the evening, my older brother-in-law with his wife came and my younger brother-in-law. We sat down all together, drunk a little bit, ate my delicious homemade cake *bragging* and the guys played some card game where I died laughing because my hubby was absolutely getting insane. It was a easy going evening, but very amusing.

Your first thought probably is:”What in the name of God is wrong with her?” Well, I’m superproud of my birthdaycake! Why? This is the first time I’ve made a cake like this ALL BY MY OWN! *applause* It was a very nice one that my hubby found on the Internet. It was a very difficult choice because we’ve founded 4 different cakes, all very easy to make. After we’ve debated about an hour, I made the final decision. For the record: my cake looks totally different from the recipe, but hey: it’s the taste that matters and it was delicious! 🙂

My gifts

As you see, the main theme of my gifts was chocolate. Why? Because I’M A CHOCOLATE ADDICT! ♥ My husband gave me the yellow one (“Najlepse zelje – Mlecna cokolada sa keksom”). Who follows me on Instagram maybe noticed that it’s the same chocolate as he gave me for International Womenday, only bigger. Why? Because since he bought it the first time, I’m seriously addicted to this flavor (so is he!). So I joked that the next time he’s buying this chocolate, I want a bigger version. And: here it is sweetie! 🙂 Isn’t he amazing?
The red box and shower gel is a present from my older brother-in-law and his wife. I didn’t try the chocolate yet because hey: you can’t mix all those flavors 😉 I’ve tried the shower gel (BU – RockMantic Aroma shower gel) last night and I found out that I have a perfume with the same smell! YES! So it’s definitely a good one.
My mommy’s gift is on his way. She send me a huge package with new stuff and some of my stuff that I left at home and I’m expecting it to arrive tomorrow (Approximate time to get a package from Belgium to Montenegro with airplane mail is one week) so fingers crossed! I can’t wait to get it because I’m really REALLY excited about it! Of course, I will write a post about this, with pictures and details. So keep up with “Time to live”!

Of course I had a lot of messages for my birthday from friends and family. Once again, thank you! ♥

Conclusion? I had a very nice and relaxed birthday. It may seem a little bit lame but for me it was an amazing birthday. And most important? I’ve enjoyed it.
