Truien truien en nog eens TRUIEN!

Hello everyone!

Hier zijn we er weer!

De titel van deze post zegt het allemaal: ik ga het hebben over truien. Huh? What?

See you soon!

London Fashion Week – Huishan Zhang.

Hello everyone!

Another report about London Fashion Week!

Today I’m writing about Huishan Zhang’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, showed on LFW on Monday 23rd of February.

I didn’t know this designer, so I red the information that is available on the official site of LFW. During his time as a student, he worked for a year at Dior. He started his own label right after he graduated.

I clicked on the pictures from this collection out of pure curiosity. I cruised a little bit on the official site because I was interested in other collections, so I thought: “Why shouldn’t I check them all?” And I did.

I like this collection because of his peaceful energy. Say what?! It’s just rest for my eyes. There is some color present (blue, red, white) but also dark colors such as black, beige and silver. And the creations are simple, but yet impressive.

And now it’s time for .. MY FAVORITE ONES! Enjoy! 🙂

London Fashion Week – Sophia Webster.

Hello everyone!

Another report from London Fashion Week!

And this post, like the previous one (Aspinal of London x Etre Cecile), will be a little bit different. This time we’re talking about every women soft spot: Shoes! Yes, my dear ladies, it was about time to write about a shoe collection. And because we’re talking about LFW, I’ve made my choice. I’m talking about Sophia Webster’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.

I’ve heard about this creator, but I’ve never checked her out. So of course, to extend my fashion knowledge, I did some research on her official website. And I must say, it wasn’t disappointing at all. Her collections are all about color! And yes we like it! Beside shoes, she also creates bags and I saw a “mini” section, which is the kids section. I definitely saw some very nice pieces.

But, LFW is our main theme, so I checked her collection for A/W 2015. And, yet again, I wasn’t disappointed. A collection with a lot of dark colors, but also some colored pieces that makes you warm. I also saw some bags (clutches and backpacks), so sign me in! She showed her collection on LFW on Sunday 22nd of February.

And like every other time .. My favorite ones!

Sophia Webster A/W 2015Sophia Webster A/W 2015I admit: it was pretty damn hard to choose my favorite ones because there were a lot of other shoes/bags that I like. If you are interested in this collection, click here. For the shoes/bags addicted among us: you won’t regret it 🙂

Keep an eye on Time to live because there’s more coming about LFW!

Until the next post,

London Fashion Week – Aspinal of London x Etre Cecile.

Hello everyone!

Here I am with another post about London Fashion Week!

Today’s post will be a little bit different. Why? Well, this time I won’t be talking about clothes, but about accessories! YAY!

As a personal accessory addict, it was about time to create a post about it. The only problem? I never found something interesting to talk about .. Until now. Because I’m following LFW, I bumped up to this brand called Aspinal of London. So I did a little research ..

Aspinal of London joined forces with Etre Cecile for this Autumn/Winter collection for 2015. Etre Cecil is described as “a label for the true fashion girl”, which suits my personality. They’ve showed their collection on LFW on the 22nd of February.

I checked out the A/W 2015 collection and I really like it. It’s a collection with classy pieces, but also with some more “playful” ones. I’m someone who likes both of them so BAM perfect combination! I might look like it’s a collection with more black colors, but there are also some color bombs present.

And I wouldn’t be a true blogger if I didn’t choose .. What? MY FAVORITE ONES! 🙂 So here they are!

You’ve noticed that I picked out only one accessory, bags. Of course, there are other pieces in this collection: wallets, clutches, bracelets, backpacks, briefcases and bags for men. If you are interested to see the full collection, click here.

See you next time for another post for LFW!

Until the next post,

London Fashion Week – David Koma.

Hello everyone!

Another day, another post about London Fashion Week!

Today’s post is about David Koma. I didn’t know anything about this designer, so I did a little research .. David is a Georgian designer based in London. He’s the creative director of French house Thierry Mugler since 2013. Enough information for me 🙂 So I looked through the photo gallery on the official site of London Fashion Week so I could get a picture of his designs. I really like his style because it isn’t so bombastic, but at the same time it doesn’t leave you unmoved.

David Koma presented his Autumn/Winter collection for 2015 on LFW on the 22nd of February. Dominating color in this collection is black, but there’s also some galactic blue, silver, orange and pastel rose present.

As usual, I’ve picked out my favorite ones 🙂 I’ve picked out the ones with more color because I’ve got the feeling that I always pick out the black ensembles. Enjoy the show!

London Fashion Week – PPQ.

Hello everyone!

Here I am with my first post on London Fashion Week!

I’m superexcited about this one, because it’s about a designer that I’ve never heard about. How did I find them? Well, I was cruisin’ on the official site for London Fashion Week and I checked out the pictures of day one. There wasn’t a single collection that really made me stop until I saw the PPQ collection. I started to look at the pictures and do some research ..

PPQ is founded by Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker, a young designer duo. They run also a recordlabel, 1234 Records. Their collections are available in Europe, Japan and America.

PPQ showed their collection on LFW the first day, Friday 20th February. The main color in this collection is black. YAY! I love color, don’t get me wrong, but I have a soft spot for all black combinations. Why? Because you look so sexy, but a little bit dangerous at the same time.

Of course, Time to live wouldn’t be Time to live if I didn’t pick some of my favorites to share with you guys! Enjoy!

So, these are my favorites from this collection. I’m surely going to follow this designer a little better, so hopefully I’ll get to see them a little bit more on the runway.

Because London Fashion Week is ending tomorrow, I’m going to report about the last few days. I haven’t been able to post at the time because I’m ill, and when you’re ill you just don’t have the energy to sit behind your laptop. I hope guys you understand 🙂

Until the next post,

See you soon!
